Minimize Ribbon

I minimized the ribbon in Microsoft word so that it would show more of the page and make it easier to see the page instead of getting confused with all the different tools shown in the ribbon. I did this by clicking on the drop down arrow in the top left corner of the Microsoft Word page, beside the quick access bar, and clicking on Minimize the Ribbon. This will help someone with a visual imparement as they will not get confused with all the different options.

Add Font To Quick Access

I added fount style to the quick access bar to make it easier and quicker to change the font of the text when the ribbon is minimized. I did this by again clicking on the drop down arrow beside the quick access bar in the top left corner of the screen; I then clicked on More Commands… This lead me to a window with multiple commands to add to the quick access bar, which I used to add fount to the bar. This will help as it will allow you to access the different fonts without having to look through all the other options on the tool bar, it will make it easier to access the founts.

     

Change Background and Font Colour

I then changed the background to blue and the changed the font to white as this makes it easier to see and read the text. I changed the background colour by going to Page Layout and clicking on page colour, which gave a drop down menu. I then choose blue as a colour which changed the colour of the background from white to blue. I changed the colour of the font by going to the Home menu and clicking on the font colour which provided a drop down menu, I used this drop down menu to change the colour of the font from black to white. This will help because it will make the writing stang out more so that the user will be able to see it.

  

 

Resolution

I changed the resolution of the computer as this makes the screen clearer and easier to see. I did this by going to the control panel and then clicking on screen resolution and changing the resolution. This will help as it will make the computer screen clearer which will make it easier to see what is on the computer screen.
