Output Devices

Output devices are devices which allow the user to get information from the computer to have a physical copy or to allow the user to view and listen to the information.

Monitor

The monitor of a computer is the screen which you can look at to view websites, pictures, programs and so on. LCD flat screens are becoming ever more popular than the CRT screens as they look better and take up less space.

Printer

Printers are an output device as they can connect to a computer through USB or wirelessly though Wi-Fi or Bluetooth to print out physical copies of documents or photos. Many printers now allow you to insert a media card or connect devices such as your mobile in order to print directly without having to go through your computer.

Speakers

Speakers are an output device as they connect to the computer or are built into the computer, although many people buy speakers to inhance the sound coming from the computer and allow the user listen to music, audio files or videos aloud.
