Laptop
A laptop is a base unit, screen, keyboard, normally a touch mouse pad and speakers built in together. Laptops are normally lightweight and portable allowing the owner to use them on the go. Laptops have a built in main unit therefore they can be used as a PC more so than a phone pr tablet.
Phones
Today there are more and more apps available on phones making them easier to use and allowing people to use them more. Now you can receive Emails, whats video’s, listen to music, use the internet as well as the basics like phone calls and texts all on your phone and fit them in your pocket instead of carrying around a laptop or computer.
Tablets
Tablets are flat touch screens which are bigger than phones pr P.D.A’s and normally has an onscreen keyboard. Tablets allow you to use the internet, and a wide range of applications and games as well as being able to use it to keep notes and receive emails, yet still smaller than a laptop or personal computer.
Embedded Devices
Many everyday devises have built in computer systems, devices such as, washing machines, dishwasher, cookers, televisions, microwaves and much more. Built in computer systems in devices such as washing machines allow the user to get more from the devise, instead of one or two basic settings a built in computer allows many different settings making the users life easier.
